Celebrating Ash Myatt’s Retirement After 15 Years at TG Builders Merchants Northwich

We’re celebrating the incredible career of Ash Myatt, who is retiring after 15 years of dedicated service at TG Builders Merchants Northwich. Ash’s final day with the team will be Friday, 18th October, and he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, achievement, and great memories.
A Career Built on Skill and Commitment
Ash joined TG in April 2008, starting out behind the wheel of a 3.5-tonne tipper wagon. Just a year later, he earned his Crane/Hiab licence and was back on the road the very next day – a testament to his drive and dedication.
In 2015, Ash’s talents were recognised nationally when he represented TG in the British Hiab Crane Championship at Oulton Park, where he won the top prize! He later went on to compete at the World Finals at the NEC, finishing in the global top 10 – a truly remarkable achievement.
Looking Ahead to Retirement
Ash now looks forward to spending more time with his wife Jane, children, and grandchildren – enjoying a well-earned break and making new memories with his family.
“Ash has been a fantastic part of the team,” said Phil Brown, Branch Manager at Northwich. “His skill, attitude, and sense of humour have made a real difference to both colleagues and customers over the years. We all wish him the very best for a happy and relaxing retirement.”
Thank you, Ash, for your years of service and for everything you’ve brought to TG Builders Merchants. You’ll be missed – but never forgotten!
