TG Builders’ Merchants Wins National Award for Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom

TG Builders’ Merchants is celebrating national recognition after winning Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom of the Year at the prestigious Builders’ Merchants Awards 2019.

The team received the award during a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton on Park Lane, where over 750 industry professionals gathered to celebrate excellence in the trade.

A Year of Growth and Achievement

The award was presented for the outstanding success of our Dream Kitchens and Bathrooms showroom in Oswestry, which has seen rapid growth over the past 12 months:

  • Staff numbers have doubled

  • Sales are up 20% compared to the same time last year

  • The 220 sq m showroom features 20 full-sized kitchen and bathroom displays

Created by reconfiguring part of the Oswestry branch, the space has become a go-to destination for both trade professionals and retail customers.

“To be shortlisted in two categories was a brilliant result, but to win the showroom award is truly outstanding,” said Mark Evans, General Manager of TG Builders’ Merchants.

“This recognition reflects the hard work, customer service, and innovation shown by the whole team over what has been an incredibly successful year.”

Shortlisted for Branch Manager of the Year

In addition to the showroom win, Paul Morris, Branch Manager at TG Builders’ Merchants Oswestry, was named one of the final three for Branch Manager of the Year. Under Paul’s leadership, the branch has seen a 40% increase in annual turnover in under two years, driven by excellent customer support and strong team performance.

“Paul’s shortlisting is a fantastic achievement and highlights the impact of dedicated leadership at branch level,” added Mark.
